Are you SURE it was dead? Because I have saved the life of many a bee with a spoonful of sugar water, or a flower. I like to think of myself as a bit of a bee paramedic and I’m thinking of getting a very tiny stretcher. (I also have a friend who saved the life of a goldfish with mouth-to-gill resuscitation, but that’s another story…) x

    ‘Day of Atonement’ seems appropriate!

(any nice veggie place recommendations in Cambridge, btw?)

Liza, since you mention it I suppose it might not have been dead. I assumed it was because of the time of year and the fact that it… er… wasn’t moving!

Veggie restaurants in Cambridge… I’ll have to ask my brother, as we don’t live in Cambridge anymore. Dave…?

There’s a veggie place called the Rainbow Cafe: http://www.rainbowcafe.co.uk/
Quality can be variable. Lots of choice though.

Other than that, it’s just your usual variations on an Italian or Indian theme. Sadly we’re not well-served with veggie restaurants.

Cocum – Indian restaurant on Castle Hill – is good for veggies. So sayeth my veggie partner after we ate there at the weekend. It’s not just veggie food, but the veggie selection is good and varied. Apparently!
