| About the Blogshanker |
I'm Mike, a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. Samples of work and other info can be found on sheepshank.org.
I've written and illustrated a children's picture book, Grandad's Ashes, designed to help children come to terms with bereavement. It was published by Jessica Kingsley in March 2007. (Here is its Amazon.co.uk page.) I'm currently working on a second book, this time with a more cheerful subject matter. I started this blog on a whim with a few scribbles back at the end of 2006. It survived through an overland trip from London to Singapore at the end of 2007, during which time I photographed the diary and emailed it to Blogshank HQ (my brother) to be posted.
Anyway, I live on a narrowboat in Cambridge with Caroline and our two dogs. If I had to share the boat with anyone else it would be Hergé, and I wouldn't let him leave until he taught me everything. (He'd have to be alive, obviously...) My email address is mike at sheepshank.org. |
