There are stories that take you to a fantastic place and open your mind, as a kid, and there are stories that take you to an enhanced version of your own world and show you how you're a bit rubbish! I remember walking around school with my friend Cookie and talking about how there was definitely a smuggling operation going on amongst the teachers. Only trouble is, there wasn't. I used to wonder why I never solved mysteries or exposed criminals!
