Sorry for the delay in posting the comment. No it wasn't quite that bad re the plane and mother's day! Although it was a last minute effort. We made a cake. Particularly like this one. Wondering if it's a coincidence that the plane going down and volcano erupting have been drawn over the last few days before Mothers Day. For me, regrettably, there is usually a last minute, panicked, 'Mayday, mayday - need to do something for Mothers Day, haven't done anything yet...' quality to the final countdown. :-) Cheers, Oli.
