It's great to hear that The Hundred Decker bus went down so well. Perhaps I'll get some sales in the States! It's all word of mouth with that book -- it's not in any bookshops, and after it was published it disappeared into a black hole. So it's thanks to people like you that it's actually doing reasonably well. I hope your daughter's school get a lot of use out of it. I've recently added a page to this website with some ideas for activities related to the story. Also, how amazing that you've hung around this blog for so long. I have been a huge fan since I first discovered your blog back when you were on the boat. You were kind enough to let me use your alphabet with my graphics students at school, the whole school were fascinated and impressed by them. When you bought out The Hundred Decker Bus I got a copy for a small cousin who loved it. So, when I went to New York recently to visit my daughter and was invited to spend a day with her at the school where she works with pre schoolers I bought a copy for them. My daughter has just texted me saying she meant yo text a while ago to let me know ". Hundred decker bus HUUUUGGGGEEEEE hit I read it 2 weeks ago. After that Zoe showed everybody who came into the room it. Her grandma came in from Chicago. First thing..."look at this book! It's as long as our rest mats!
