I get lots of emails asking me to insert ads for spurious junk into this blog, but I don't believe in it. If you enjoy this blog and would like to 'pay' something then you could buy one of my books, review it on Amazon, or buy me a book from my Amazon wish list. To those who have done this, I am very grateful. Thanks.

Will you just stop being so bloody good, please?
(Please don’t ever stop being so bloody good).
Thanks Dave! I have absolutely no idea whether any of these are any good. Whether I like it or not doesn’t seem to be any guide to its popularity.
Very high hit rate in this house.
Mike – it’s not a case of “whether any of these are any good” it’s a case of all of these are very very good indeed. I’m a regular reader so though it’s about time I said hello. You site is one of my favourite stops on the internet. Keep up the good work.
DW x
Thanks Daniel. Nice to hear from a regular. There is a small band of loyal readers and I can only assume that they all think a bit like me.
Thinking even MORE like you with this post…..!
The heat is returning to us in Shanghai, and, every now and then, we get a few days of almost blue sky and bright sunshine too! I’d swap a week of this weather for one sunny, blustery wind sort of day, in England!
Keep up the great work, clicking into your page and finding a new post is one of life’s great treats xxxx
That’s nice to hear, Jenni. Weather here is terrible this week. Wet, windy and cold, just like the Springs I remember!
Some of us probably do think (a lot) like you, but you also have a lovely way of communicating how you think/feel/see – and that’s the good bit. Or at least one of them
Leapy dog!
