I get lots of emails asking me to insert ads for spurious junk into this blog, but I don't believe in it. If you enjoy this blog and would like to 'pay' something then you could buy one of my books, review it on Amazon, or buy me a book from my Amazon wish list. To those who have done this, I am very grateful. Thanks.

This is great, Mike! Love the “yelling at the offspring” panel.
All that roughage and vitamin B and now with added calcium, you’re practically eating a health food!
Thank you! Finding a new post from you here is like finding a packet of Bourbons at the back of the cupboard…..!
White chocolate hobnobs?
Are these homemade or some kind of bespoke creation from a specialist biscuit emporium in Brigadoon?
Thanks everyone.
I believe it’s true that white chocolate hobnobs don’t officially exist. But you can experience the taste by putting a piece of white chocolate onto a plain hobnob and throwing them into your mouth together.
Ad-hoc chilli chocolate hobnobs may be fashioned in the same manner, and I recommend them.
Very good ha ha! Isn’t it lucky that your wife is a bit slow to check your blog on the internet! P.S. I also strongly recommend that you find a chocolate supply with water soluble wrappers so that I am unable to detect the shiny red evidence as it falls out of your pockets in the washing machine! x
White Chocolate Hob Nobs indeed, back in my day it was Marmite Digestives and Guiness Shortbread.
Love this. This is my life, except I use our Jack Russell as we’ve managed to avoid kids.
