I get lots of emails asking me to insert ads for spurious junk into this blog, but I don't believe in it. If you enjoy this blog and would like to 'pay' something then you could buy one of my books, review it on Amazon, or buy me a book from my Amazon wish list. To those who have done this, I am very grateful. Thanks.

You’re losing it! Get a proper job!

“Proper jobs”, on the whole, seem overwhelmingly more like losing it, as far as I can tell. I’ve got one at the moment, but I gave my notice once I realised what had happened.
I was reading the bbc news on their website today …and saw your posted comment and I came here to look at your remarkable blog.
Well done indeed!

Thanks! Actually I didn’t intend that BBC comment to be published — I just wanted to draw their attention to the whole field of web comics, which is largely ignored in favour of more snazzy-looking photos and video. There are thousands of people drawing and ‘publishing’ their own creations, a bit like the old small presses, and some are really popular.
