I get lots of emails asking me to insert ads for spurious junk into this blog, but I don't believe in it. If you enjoy this blog and would like to 'pay' something then you could buy one of my books, review it on Amazon, or buy me a book from my Amazon wish list. To those who have done this, I am very grateful. Thanks.

I have been meaning to tell you this for a long time, but I really enjoy these strips and admire your watercolors a lot. I especially am sympathizing with your latest ones because I remember how intense it was the first months after my son was born last year. Congratulations! You and your family are doing such a great job with it all!
take care,
Rina A
Thanks Rina. It’s great to get a comment from someone new — it shows that some people do read this blog after all!
People told us it gets better after the first 12 weeks… now that he’s 14 weeks they tell us it gets better after the first year… but he’s doing quite well at the moment. Hope it’s going well with your son. I like the look of your books, by the way.
This is such a great idea for a strip – can’t think why anyone else hasn’t done it. Exceptionally done too Mike.
Don’t worry – kids are resilient little things. Mine are mostly grown up now (19,17,11) and it does get better – it’s just that kids use there own timetable to determine when…
My goodness, I’m taken back 32 years to when my youngest was a baby! I do feel for you both, it’s hard work! But it will get easier, honest. We all seem to have survived anyway. Make sure you say ‘yes please’ when anyone offers any help, don’t be proud.
And please don’t stop posting, they are wonderful!
Kath
Oh it’s just so hard…love and hugs to you all!!! And thanks for carrying on blogging even though you must be exhausted. xxx
What kind comments! Thanks very much. Things have been getting much better, and every day he seems to change a little bit more.
