I get lots of emails asking me to insert ads for spurious junk into this blog, but I don't believe in it. If you enjoy this blog and would like to 'pay' something then you could buy one of my books, review it on Amazon, or buy me a book from my Amazon wish list. To those who have done this, I am very grateful. Thanks.

If you buy lots of socks of the same color and size you donot have to spend time sorting them into pairs. In fact within days you will find you have an odd number?
No, no. You’re getting old when you don’t even notice that you’ve put on odd socks. Funnily enough, I discovered I was wearing (slightly) odd socks when I changed this morning after cycling to work.
